Katherine Morgan Breslin brings a wealth of legal expertise to MBH, having successfully guided both nonprofits and corporations through complex legal landscapes. With a focus on efficiency and the strategic use of cloud-based technologies, she has served as in-house and outside general counsel, providing tailored solutions to meet her clients’ needs. Katherine’s extensive tax law knowledge, strengthened by an LL.M. in Taxation, enhances MBH’s capabilities in tax planning, compliance, and nonprofit law.
Katherine holds a B.A. in Spanish from Rhodes College, a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Originally from Texas, she has called Philadelphia home since 2011. In her free time, Katherine enjoys exploring the city’s vibrant cultural and culinary offerings.
Andrew Scott Hurwitz

Andrew Hurwitz’s legal career spans entertainment law, litigation, personal injury, and estate and elder law. Starting as an entertainment attorney, he gained experience in contracts, mediation, and publishing, later serving as in-house counsel for record labels, management companies, and a tech startup. Today, Andrew focuses on estate and elder law while pursuing an LL.M. in the field from Western New England University.
Andrew holds degrees from Tufts University and the Washington College of Law at American University. After a decade practicing in New York, he returned to Pennsylvania. A native of Philadelphia, Andrew is a two-time Grammy Award winner, certified Bikram Yoga instructor, and avid marathon runner, having completed the Philadelphia Marathon twice.
